Eric Anzalone

Eric has been a member of Village People since 1995. He was born in Dayton, Ohio but grew up in Santa Barbara, California. As a graduate of San Marcos High School, he joins a special list of alumni including ER's Anthony Edwards, actor Eric Stoltz, Tony winner (The Producers) Cady Huffman (his high school girlfriend!), and Dean Dinning, bass player from Toad the Wet Sprocket. He studied theatre with a music minor at the University of Miami, Florida.

Eric has performed in various stage productions around the world. A few tid bits include killing many brain cells in the role of Berger in the European tour of HAIR, as a soloist performing Broadway standards with the Bratislavian Orchestra, and singing on the high seas for Princess Cruises. He starred as the purple-masked Donatello in the world tour of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles following the Turtles' album release Coming Out Of Their Shells. He again donned the "extremely comfortable" green suit and this time lent his voice as well, but as Raphael in the films A Turtles' Christmas and Turtle Tunes.

In the 1980's, Eric was the frontman for the Los Angeles based heavy-metal band PARADIGM. He has written and performed with other punk/metal bands over the years. Most recently as the guitarist in the NYC power-punk quartet SiR (singles from Sir's CD Rock On Love Agnes are available for preview and download at itunes.com).

Eric took over the role of the Biker/Leatherman in November 1995. He continues to act and do voice overs and he has written two full length feature screenplays and a couple of treatments for episodic TV. VH1/MTV networks developed one of his shows, and he recently appeared in a couple of episodes of VH1's The Love Lounge. His first novel, HUMANITIES, will hit the shelves of your local bookmonger early fall 2007.

Eric's hobbies include diving, cooking, reading, golf and writing music. His favorite thing to do on the road is going out to a good dinner while enjoying a great book (a pasttime he learned from David Hodo who usually supplies the books).  In addition, Eric is currently a Film and Media major at Arizona State University.

Having escaped from Los Angeles in 1992, Eric now calls New Jersey home. He has a ten year old daughter, Samantha.
